# Circle the Even Numbers Worksheets

These circle the even numbers worksheets have 40 numbers of which approximately half are even values. The child must identify which of the numbers are even and circle them on the worksheet.

Children need to learn that numbers which end in 0, 2, 4, 6, or 8 are all even. A useful reminder is that even numbers can be split into two equal groups. For example, if I have four sweets and share them between two people, each will get two sweets - therefore 4 is even. If I have five sweets and share them between two people, one person would get 3 and the other 2 sweets - therefore 3 is an odd number.
